Gorgeous french toast at a great price! Sitting outside in the sunshine of this quieter street you could forget you were in central Auckland. Beautiful. Would recommend and will come again

I've been coming here for almost a decade, and it’s hands down the best family-owned coffee shop around. Marie makes the absolute best coffee and you can really taste the difference. The breakfast is top-notch too, always fresh and delicious. This place has a warm, welcoming vibe that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!

Best coffee in city. If you’re in the city and is looking for a good coffee place with delicious food, make sure to try Federal square cafe. They have a lot of regulars for a reason. Best tasting coffee, service is amazing and the place is homey. There’s not a single item on the menu that will disappoint, my favourites are field mushroom on toast, freshly baked muffins and eggs ben. Their pumpkin soup during lunch is also a must try.

Awesome café with reasonable prices and beautiful breakfasts! Finally a breakfast spot in Auckland that doesn’t charge extortionate prices for poached eggs on toast! Two perfectly poached eggs on fresh sourdough toast for 10! The coffee is lovely (5.50) and the staff are really nice. There are loads of options and plenty of seating, indoor and out. Feels like a family-run affair. Will definitely be back to this little haven. It’s just off the side of a gorgeously lit and landscaped contemporary city square.

Great spot for breakfast. Small or large you won’t be disappointed. We had poached eggs on toast. They even had gluten free toast. Coffee is excellent.
